The sound quality of this phone is significantly better than the old phones which I’ve retired. I bought the phone because reviews I had read were so complimentary, so the quality has been well-established by other reviewers, but I would like to comment on a difficulty I had regarding registering the handsets to the base unit.
Reviewers have commented on how easy it was to register the phones to the base unit, but I had a different experience which took about a month to resolve with help from the supplier, Ligo Electronics (no thanks to the Panasonic help desk). I received the base unit plus a registered phone in one box, plus three additional handsets in other boxes, which were not registered to the base unit, and although I followed the instructions faithfully I could not register these other three handsets. I eventually returned the whole set to Ligo, and they registered the handsets straight away! My error, I believe, was that at Step 3 you press OK to “Register H.set” and then you are instructed “Please wait for 1 minute”. I waited before continuing with the base unit step, but I believe I should have carried out the base unit step immediately while the handset was displaying the Please Wait message (I have not tried it, since Ligo returned the phones to me already registered).
Perhaps I followed the instructions too literally. Anyway, I hope this review helps another purchaser.

This is a fabulous quad set. Easy to programme and easy to send phone book to all phones. BIG writing so OK for us oldies and easy to learn set up etc. “““great value.

Bought these as my previous DECT phones had begun to fail and new batteries were exhorbitantly expensive.
The KX phones worked first time, easy to set up, being able to programme all from the one phone a big advantage. Manual clear, buttons and display very easy to read. Range extends to the end of my garden! In short all I want from a phone.

I bought this product when the rechargable batteries in my Philips analogue triple Cordless phone needed replacing. I also needed a further Handset. I have had the product for a amonth now and I am very impressed by the quality of the product and the features that these phones have. The range of the phones is excellent, and the Digital Technology gives superb clarity. I am so impressed by this phone, that I am thinking of buying a further 2 hand sets for use with the same base station. The system will take a maximum of 6 hand sets and the ability of being able to transfer the stored numbers to each hand set easily is brilliant.

I bought this DECT set to replace A BT Synergy 3505 3-phone set that couldn’t reach remoter parts of our house because of thick internal stone walls (we need a signal booster for our broadband wireless). It has proved to be a good choice - it can reach the remotest part of the house. The Panasonic system seems to be well designed and reliable. The sound quality is good and very clear. The backlit screen is easy to read, with large and clear text. I particularly appreciated the ability to set up one phonebook and then copy all the entries to the other handsets - saves a lot of rekeying! Setup is clearly explained and easily done, and - in a word - it all works as it’s supposed to. Highly recommended.
